Meet The Principal
My name is Kelly Carpenter and I am beyond elated to be a part of the EAC team. I have been an educator for over 20 years. During that time, I have gained invaluable experience in a variety of settings. I've worked with all ages between K-8 in both general education as well as in special education. I feel that my diverse experience has helped make me a stronger educator and it will help me to succeed in my new role as principal of EAC.
My husband, Jerry, and I live in Chester with our three boys (Austin, Wesley, and Avery). We are former residents of Evansville and one day hope to move back 'home'. We have always loved the residents, community, and school here in Evansville.
I am honored and excited to be a part of the EAC team. I look forward to meeting you, getting to know you and your child(ren), and working together to create an amazing learning community for our students.

I believe it takes a positive team effort to ensure the best possible education for our students. With that being side I strive to keep the communication line between home and school open. This connection is a priority at EAC.
